Electric bikes giving riders an opportunity to ride again
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - A few months ago, Pedego Electric Bike Company opened its doors on Stolley Park Road, and has seen quite some business in that time.
The company is known for its electric bikes, which offer pedal assistance for those who may struggle with making a normal bike move.
”We have five levels of pedal assist, like one through five. One it’ll help you pedal to 8 miles an hour, and on level five it’ll help you pedal to 20 miles an hour. It’s whatever range you feel you need and you can set it that and it will help you pedal,” Alex Pinkelman, the associate fun officer at Pedego said.
Pedego also sells helmets and accessories to keep riders safe as they travel the many trails Grand Island has to offer.
