Grand Island woman arrested following stabbing incident

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB)- A Grand Island woman was arrested after police say she stabbed her husband in the leg.
The Grand Island Police Department said the attack happened on Friday around 5 p.m.
When police responded to address they found a 40-year-old male victim with a stab wound to the leg from a kitchen knife.
GIPD said he also had scratches on his face and lacerations on his chest from a key.
Police arrested 38-year-old Yudierquis Reyes-Merino for second degree domestic assault charges among others.
A 7-month-old infant was also present during the incident but was not physically harmed.
