Children’s Art Show coming to Grand Island Public Library
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - — The Grand Island Public Library presents the second annual Children’s Art Show as part of the 2023 summer reading program.
Artists ages 10 and younger may enter one piece of art for the show and the artwork must be submitted by a parent or guardian with an entry form beginning Tuesday, May 23 through Wednesday, June 7. Entries can measure up to 3 feet by 3 feet, and 2 feet deep if it’s three-dimensional, and prizes will be awarded with a random drawing.
All entries must be ready to hang or display in a glass case, and may also be photographed for the library’s social media with the artist’s first name.
The Children’s Art Show will be available for public viewing in the Library’s Art Alcove beginning Thursday, June 8 through Friday, June 30 during regular business hours.
