Cadillac wins Tom Dinsdale girls all-star event, Alma’s Neal named Player of the Game

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - The 2023 Tom Dinsdale Automotive x Striv high school girls basketball all-star game was held at Grand Island Central Catholic Friday.

Some of the state’s best girls basketball players made the trip and were split into Team Hyundai and Team Cadillac. Hyundai had a 25-24 lead at halftime, until Cadillac roared back for a 55-47 win.

Alma’s Addison Neal of Team Hyundai was named Player of the Game, while GICC’s Lucy Ghaifan paced the winning effort.

“It was fun playing with Gracie again,” Ghaifan said. “I just felt like we had that connection like we always did during high school. And just playing with these group of girls, it was fun. I feel like we connected really well. This just re-started how I felt about basketball and just enjoying it.”
