CCC Hastings hosts first-ever garage sale

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Central Community College-Hastings hosted its first garage sale today.
In year’s past, the Hastings Campus has sold its surplus items through an auction agency. But this year, the decision was made to conduct a garage sale, something that had been done at CCC’s other campuses. The garage sale was announced on CCC’s social media platforms last weekend and administrators say people started lining up at around 5:30 this morning for the 9 a.m. opening.
A good portion of the items for sale were sold within 45 minutes. CCC-Hastings administrators will measure the success of today’s garage sale and decide if future garage sales will be held.
