Hastings St. Cecilia continues renovations on middle and high school

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - As the school year gets set to kick off, Hastings St. Cecilia middle and high school are continuing to be renovated.

The construction won’t affect classes, and it’s much needed as parts of schools hadn’t been touched since the 1960s.

It’s a $13 million project, with some money going to the teachers endowment fund, and the “Our faith, Our future, Our time” campaign.

”Creating a nice, new environment creates a lot of excitement with our students, our faculty, staff, and our community, and also just having a great learning environment with nice new windows and nice bright light coming in. We’ll continually increase our academics to a higher level,” Father Cyrus Rowan, principal of the schools, explained.
