Pleasantly warmer today, enjoy it because things get super hot later this week

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - After a cool and windy day yesterday, temperatures will warm up this afternoon. But with a lot less wind it will be a pleasantly warm day with sunny skies. Winds will be light out of the southwest this afternoon between 3 and 8 mph. Highs today ranging from the low 80s east to upper 80s and low 90s west.
Temperatures will crank up more tomorrow with a breezy southerly winds. Highs will range from the upper 80s east to the upper 90s west. A brief push of cooler air will come in from the north on Thursday as highs range from the lower 80s northeast to the lower 90s southwest. It’ll heat right back up Friday and into the weekend. Winds will also be breezy. Highs on Friday will range from the upper 80s east to around 100° west. Highs on Saturday will range from the mid 90s to the mid 100s. Expect more of the same on Sunday and continuing into early next week. Each day will continue to feature quite a bit of sunshine.
