Hastings football wins first game of season over Gretna East

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - The Hastings Tigers and Gretna East Griffins stopped play on Friday night due to lightning.
Before the game was suspended the Tigers saw their opportunity to pounce on Gretna East in game one of the season, jumping out to a 17 to 7 lead.
Hastings carried that momentum into the second day, beating the Griffs in their first-ever game, 23-13.
