Musicians wanted for annual Harvest of Harmony parade

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Mark your calendars for October 7 for the 81st Annual Harvest of Harmony Parade.

Are you interested in joining the Harvest of Harmony Alumni Band? The Grand Island Chamber of Commerce is looking for new musicians to participate in the parade this year. The Harvest of Harmony Alumni Band will be providing the music, so all you need to do is bring your own instrument or contact the Grand Island Chamber for help in obtaining one.

Practice dates include:

- Sunday, September 17 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

- Sunday, September 24 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

- Sunday, October 1 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Practices will be at the Central Community College parking lot, 3134 West Highway 34. If you are interested in joining the band for the parade, contact the Chamber at (308) 646-0795.

The Harvest of Harmony Parade starts at 8:15 a.m. on 3rd Street in downtown Grand Island.
