Hastings business owners named as Chairs of 2024 United Way of South Central Nebraska fundraising campaign

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - United Way of South Central Nebraska has named Cortney and Eric Davis as Chairs of the 2024 United Way of South Central Nebraska fundraising campaign. Eric is a Wood River native and graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Cortney is a Hastings native and graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Eric and Cortney have two sons, Jennings 7 and Sulivan 5 who both attend Saint Michaels in Hastings. Eric is a licensed physical therapist and an advanced wound therapy account manager with 3M. Cortney is a partner with Aspyr Professional Group, PC Certified Public Accounting firm in their Hastings office. Eric and Cortney also co-own Frahm Bar, a coffee shop and bar, in downtown Hastings.
“We are excited to be a part of the campaign,” said Cortney. “As foster parents we have seen first-hand the resources United Way helps to make available to the people in our community who need them the most. We are happy to be a small part of the big difference the United Way makes in our area.”
“We are so grateful to have Eric and Cortney chair this year’s campaign,” said Jodi Graves, Executive Director of United Way of South Central Nebraska. “It’s clear they are passionate about their community and with their first-hand knowledge of the need for United Way funded programs, they are well-suited to help lead our campaign.”
United Way of South Central Nebraska will officially kick off its 2024 Campaign with a Business After Hours event on Thursday, September 14th. The event will be held at the Lark (809 W 2 nd , Hastings) from 5:00 – 7:00 pm and is hosted by Campaign Chairs, Cortney & Eric Davis. This year’s kick off features a special guest speaker, TeamMates CEO DeMoine Adams.
This will be United Way’s 82nd consecutive Campaign. United Way of South Central Nebraska funds 20 crucial health and human service agencies and more than 40 programs in Adams, Clay, Nuckolls and Webster counties.
