Early morning fire reported in downtown Hastings
The fire was reported early Thursday morning.

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - The Hastings Fire Department responded to the scene early Thursday morning for what’s being described as a “small fire” at a downtown apartment complex.
The call came in a little before 5 a.m. to the 200 block of West 2nd street in downtown Hastings, which is the location of the Brewery Apartments.
Hastings Fire said an alarm went out with some evacuating the building. Nobody was injured and likely cooking was the cause, though it’s being investigated.
