LINCOLN, Neb. (KSNB) - The Nebraska School Activities Association held its Board of Directors meeting Thursday. Among other topics, discussion surrounding the shot clock rule in high school basketball was discussed.

According to the official NSAA X page, the board voted 7-1 in favor of “Class C1, C2, D1, & D2 to use the shot clock based on a game by game or tournament by tournament trial if all schools agree & the NSAA staff approves.”

The shot clock was officially introduced in Class A last season. This past April, Class B was also granted the ability to use a shot clock as well.
