HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Hastings College welcomed its largest incoming class in ten years in August and received more positive news this week with the release of college ranking reports. These reports were compiled by organizations that evaluate student performance and the value of institutions across the nation.

Hastings College was ranked 19th out of over 80 colleges in the 2024 Best College rankings by US News & World Report and was ranked 11th in the Best Value category among Midwest colleges.

Hastings College was also included in U.S. News’ Social Mobility rankings. Social mobility is a ranking of colleges that enroll and graduate economically disadvantaged students.

“These rankings reflect our dedication to delivering an outstanding education that equips our students for successful careers and instills in them a profound sense of service and community engagement,” said Dr. Rich Lloyd ‘85, president of Hastings College.

Hastings College was named to Washington Monthly’s Midwest’s Best Bang for the Buck list, which is a list that looks at colleges and universities in the Midwest to see if they can help low-income students get a degree.
