Minden volleyball sweeps Gothenburg in battle of the unbeatens

MINDEN, Neb. (KSNB) - The first two sets of this battle reflected exactly what both Minden and Gothenburg have accomplished this far into the high school volleyball season.
The Whippets and Swedes were both a perfect 17-0 entering Thursday night’s showdown. Both the first and second sets needed extra points to settle, but it was Minden winning both of them 27-25, then 26-24.
After the two grueling sets, the Whippets pulled away to take the third set 25-17, earning them possibly the most impressive sweep of the season thus far.
