September will be ending on a warm note and we may not be done with the 90s yet
September 25, 2023 Morning Forecast
HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - It’ll be a warm start to the week, but fairly pleasant overall. There may be a few clouds...especially to the northeast, closer to the surface low that is nearly stationary in Minnesota. Winds won’t be as strong the next few days. Highs today will range from the lower 70s northeast to the low/mid 80s southwest. Lows tomorrow morning will dip back to between the mid 40s and the mid 50s from west to the east. Temperatures may be a few degrees cooler as the previously mentioned low drifts south and southeastward. High temperatures tomorrow will range from the upper 60s northeast to the lower 80s south and west. Lows will be back into the mid 40s to the mid 50s tomorrow night into Wednesday morning. Highs on Wednesday will range from the low/mid 70s northeast to the lower 80s south and west.
Later in the week, we’ll see an increase in winds and temperatures. This will begin on Thursday. Highs on Thursday will range from the upper 70s north to near 90° southwest. Friday and Saturday will both be quite windy. Highs will range from the lower 80s north to the lower 90s south. Sunday will still be quite breezy with highs still in the 80s to near 90°. Temperatures will slowly start to trend down next week. There may be a slight chance of rain and thunderstorms over the weekend. Overnight lows at the end of this week and into the weekend will also be warmer in the 60s.
