Elkhorn North’s Prince commits to Nebraska women’s basketball

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Britt Prince held scholarship offers from 35 programs. The group included some women’s basketball blue bloods. In the end, Prince decided to stay in Nebraska.

The 5-star recruit committed to Amy Williams and the Huskers on Sunday, three weeks ahead of her senior season at Elkhorn North. With the Wolves, Prince had won three state championships and was named the Nebraska Gatorade Player of the Year in 2023.

Prince averaged more than 23 points during her junior season, while leading Class B in scoring, field goal percentage, 3-point point percentage, and assists.

Prince is rated as the 17th-best prospect in the 2024 signing class.
