Stanton football holds off EMF’s late rally to win Class D1 State Championship

LINCOLN, Neb. (KSNB) - The NSAA Class D1 Football State Championship was a matchup between #7 EMF and #1 Stanton.

Both teams had no issue putting points on the board as the game went back and forth.

In the fourth quarter, big plays by Jordan Claussen and Barrett Wilke helped propelled the Mustangs to victory, defeating EMF 42-36.
