Police identify victim killed in early morning North Omaha shooting

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A shooting in North Omaha left one person dead and another injured early Sunday morning.
Police say the shooting took place near 62nd Street and Camden Avenue around 2:30 Saturday morning.
When police arrived on the scene, they found one man dead in the middle of the street.
In an update Sunday morning, OPD identified the victim as 19-year-old Ashtin Fletcher.
Further investigation found another victim, a 20-year-old man, was taken to Nebraska Medicine with a non-life threatening injury.
“It’s a large scene. It’s still an active scene. We have investigators out,” OPD Lt. Jose Nava told First Alert 6.
