Canadian police snap photo of fox with mouth full of stolen hot dogs

(CNN) - The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said officers tracked down an unusual thief on Monday.

Officers in Alberta caught a photo of a fox with at least five stolen hot dogs in its mouth. The agency described the sly suspect as, “red hair, short in stature and wearing a thick coat.”

When found, officers said the suspect was trying to conceal evidence. A photo suggested the fox was unable to stay tight-lipped with the hot dogs in its mouth.

The RCMP said the victims declined to press charges after being outfoxed.
