Jacob Courtney joined KSNB Local4 as a morning news producer in August 2023. He is a graduate from Sam Houston State University with a bachelor's degree in multimedia journalism.
Jacob was raised in the muggy swamplands of Southeast Texas and moved Nebraska to pursue his dream of writing. He has worked as a features reporter for the Aurora News-Register, winning awards for features writing and breaking news photography.
When he isn't working, he's writing in his downtime, whether in a journal or on an essay. He also volunteers his time at the Hamilton County Youth Center, expanding teenagers imaginations with a bi-weekly Dungeons and Dragons game. Jacob is always willing to lend an ear to the stories locals are eager to tell.
