Leroy Triggs III came to Nebraska to cover UNL sports with his previous employer and found a home reporting in Hastings.
Leroy is from a small-town Raceland, Louisiana. He studied journalism at Nicholls State University, graduating in the fall of 2019. Leroy fell in love with broadcast journalism during his internship at WAFB in Baton Rouge during the summer of 2019.
That experience helped him realize how creative and fun working in television can be. He had several years of writing experience covering sports throughout Southeast Louisiana, Northern California, and Nebraska.
He hopes to become a valuable and versatile member of the KSNB Local4 news team.
