15-year-old epilepsy patient receives shopping spree

KEARNEY, Neb. - If you had a wish, what would it be? For one 15-year-old the answer is a shopping spree.
It was a dream come true for 15-year-old Cordell Richards, as he was given free reign over much of Kearney’s Hilltop Mall thanks to the "Kids Wish Foundation."
Cordell has epilepsy and autism, and his mother explained the great experience her son had on Wednesday.
"Today has been a day that we will not forget,” Jodi Richards, Cordell’s mother said. “There's so many things that Cordell doesn't get to do that normal 15-year-old can do, and to see the smile on his face and the joy that has come today, that can't be replaced."
Books, electronics, games, and much more were all on his list.
