Airport Manager pleased with SkyWest's first year in North Platte

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - North Platte's Regional Airport is touting success after it's first year with SkyWest. Manager, Sam Seafeldt, says the community embraced the new airline with 12,982 passengers from Feb. 1 through Dec. 31, 2018.

Seafeldt is thanking the community for the support they have shown the new airline over the last year. Seafeldt is looking forward to another we are looking forward to another full year with SkyWest.

Skywest's contract ends next year. Seafeldt says the airport would be happy if that contract would continue. He says the 50-seat regional jet service to Denver is seeing success in North Platte because of their service but also because of community support.
