Brown has first day before judge following 3 hour police standoff

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Less than 24 hours after an over 3 hour stand off with police, Bailey Brown appeared before a judge in Hall County Court.

Brown was charged with second degree assault for an incident in July 2019. He is accused of attacked another man with a beer bottle.

Two misdemeanor charges were also added for the police stand off that took place on Thursday - including obstruction of a police officer and resisting arrest.

Brown's preliminary hearing for the assault (CR192692) was set for November 15th at 9:30 am in Hall County Court. A pretrial for the misdemeanors (CR192843) was set for October 21st at 9 am, with a jury trial on October 28th at 9 am.

The judge set his bond at $80,000 for CR192692 and $20,000 for CR192843.
