These floods have been devastating to communities across Nebraska.

The Grand Island Community Foundation is stepping up to help those here in central Nebraska after heavy rain and blizzard conditions caused major flooding in towns such as Dannebrog, Boelus and St. Paul.

They have established a Disaster Relief Fund for Central Nebraska.

Funds will be available for the local area to assist with relief related to the disastrous flooding seen in the area.

"This is the time for communities to come together and for neighbors to help neighbors. The devastation in our area is unlike anything that we have seen before," said Melissa DeLaet, CEO of the Grand Island Community Foundation.

Those wishing to contribute to the fund can do so

The Grand Island Community Foundation will be in contact with local communities to distribute the funds.
