It's International Migratory Bird Month in Nebraska—a month-long celebration of birds. There are plenty of events taking place this weekend to help appreciate our feathered friends.

The Spring Creek Prairie Audubon Center in Denton is holding a series of programs called “The Bs.” The celebration will be filled with birds, blooms, brews, bugs and brunch.

The events will take place on May 20 & May 21 and include activities for the whole family.

Participants can learn how to identify birds by listening to their songs, explore the world of pollinators on the prairie, and even partake in a beer tasting from Blue Blood Brewery.

Space is limited, so early registration is suggested at email scp@audubon.org or 402-797-2301.
