Hall County Board of Supervisor cited in 2-vehicle accident

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Hall County Board of Supervisor Dick Hartman was cited for an accident Monday evening in Grand Island.

It happened at 6:42 p.m. at 1st and Blaine.

Grand Island Police said a Chevy Silverado, driven by Hartman, was traveling westbound on 1st street. The Silverado ran a stop sign and hit a vehicle, driven by Vilma Albers, that was heading southbound on Blaine.

Hartman was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign, while Albers received a child restraint citation. Seat belts were on but not properly restrained.

Albers and two children in her vehicle were taken to the hospital.
