It will be a traditional three part housing ceremony to dedicate the department's new unit Brush 2.

Those three parts are: hosing down and drying the new apparatus, washing the tires and pushing in.

The public is invited to come out and meet with the firefighters and see the new equipment.

There will be an open house and reception in the Lincoln Park Station meeting room immediately following the ceremony.

It begins at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16 at the Lincoln Park Station. That is located at 1145 South Hastings Ave.
