Hy-Vee donates more than 100,000 water bottles to Nebraska flood relief

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN)- Hy-Vee inc. announced that it would donate four semi loads of drinking water to American Red Cross for distribution to communities across Nebraska impacted by flooding.

Three Hy-Vee semis are expected to arrive at the Nebraska National Guard warehouse in Lincoln carrying over 72,000 bottles of water and over 3,000 one-gallon jugs of water on Saturday at 8 a.m. A fourth semi has delivered more than 30,000 bottles of water to Verdirge, Neb.

Hy-Vee urges communities in need of safe drinking water to contact their local emergency management agency for more details.
