GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Hy-Vee is kicking off Heart Health Month with cholesterol screenings at the Grand Island store.
The event is Saturday, February 2, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
It was suppose to be in the Hy-Vee Healthy You Mobile, but due to the cold weather, it will be inside the store instead.
The screenings will include blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose and a professional consultation with dietitian Danielle Perry.
To get accurate results, you should fast 9 to 12 hours prior to the screening.
The screenings are free and will be done on a first-come, first-served basis.
It's important to know your numbers so you can take steps to improve your health.
