NSP spreading positivity with sticky notes
Kicking off the 150th anniversary of the Nebraska State Fair, Nebraska State Patrol decided to begin a new, hopefully annual, tradition.
Cover a patrol car in sticky notes.
State Patrol has an exhibit set up in the southwest corner of the Pinnacle Bank Expo Center where a patrol car is sitting and, come Monday, will be completely covered in sticky notes.
Fair goers are encouraged to stop by and write anything they want. Messages range from postive notes of encouragement, random likes on the topic of Doritos and Fortnite, as well as thanking State Patrol.
A press release from Nebraska State Patrol states that the idea came from Nebraskans coming together this past year to be "#NebraskaStrong". Dealing with rain, snow and 93 different counties declaring emergencies, State Patrol wanted to show that Nebraskans are strong and together.
The exhibit and the car will be set up through Monday, September 2nd.
