LINCOLN, Neb. - A bill that would legalize medical marijuana is scheduled to go before Nebraska lawmakers on Wednesday.
LB 110 made it through committee last week.
This version contains heavily regulated concessions by lawmakers.
If passed, a patient would not be allowed to smoke marijuana. It would also limit the amount they can possess.
All of this comes as activists work to put a separate legalization measure on the 2020 ballot with fewer restrictions.
