UPDATE: Authorities have officially located the missing teen and her kidnapper in South Dakota, shortly after 4 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. Christopher Johnson (26) is now in custody, and court records show he's got a long list of priors - including escaping police custody and being physically violent.

Just after 4 p.m. Wednesday, the South Dakota Highway Patrol spotted Johnson's vehicle, and when attempting to make a traffic stop, he took off.

Once the chase reached dangerous speeds, police decided to back off. However, moments later they found the vehicle Johnson was driving wrecked and unoccupied.

That's when State Police deployed a helicopter and K-9 units to search the area, and eventually they located Johnson and Yonko together just 30 minutes after the pursuit began.

Johnson is now behind bars, and Yonko is safe and in protective custody.
