GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - In an effort to bring more entertainment options to Grand Island and add to the Railside area, 40 North Tap + Grille is bringing weekly concerts to the area.
40 North Tap + Grille bringing in local and out-of-state artists each Saturday for concert series.
Beginning Friday evening and running each following Saturday up to St. Patrick's Day, the concerts have no cost of admission and are planned to begin at 8 p.m.
"Downtown is a great place to come for entertaining and dining so it's just a great fit," owner Jay Vavricek said.
Also happening Friday at 40 North is a craft beer event which runs from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event costs $30 and includes a t-shirt, a mug and craft beer samples from both 40 North and outside brewers who will be in attendance to answer questions and sample their beer.
The concert series will have artists from rock, alternative, country, blues and dance all coming from the Midwest.
