Motorcyclist involved in crash near Fallbrook dies

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN)- Lincoln Police said a motorcyclist involved in a collision near Highway 34 and Fallbrook Blvd. on June 16 has died.

The motorcyclist has been identified as Trey Lacy, 26, of North Platte.

Lincoln Police was called to the area at 2:51 p.m. on reports of a motorcycle and vehicle collision.

According to an LPD accident report, the driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash reported she was waiting at a red light when she saw a motorcycle come up from behind.

The motorcycle collided with the back of the vehicle after attempting to pass the other vehicle, a witness said.

Lacy was thrown from the vehicle. He died on June 18.

Police said family has been notified, and that Lacy was wearing a helmet.
