NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - It's going to be up to Lincoln County Attorney whether or not a local man is charged after a traffic accident in North Platte Thursday. Nebraska State Patrol Trooper, JJ Connelly, says he did not cite 20-year-old Travis Garlach at the scene. Connelly says Garlach ran a stop light at the corner of Leota and Jeffers Streets before 7 a.m.

He also says Garlach clipped the pickup of 39-year-old Fabian Mata Martinez as Martinez was driving west on Leota Street. The force of the accident rolled Martinez's pickup. Martinez is from Grand Island.
