The Grand Island Public Schools Foundation is releasing more information about the new Memorial Stadium and its renovations. They just revealed the new stadium will have a whole wall dedicated to Hall County veterans.

This will be an additional memorial on top of the plaque they currently have out front. The new wall will honor veterans from both World Wars, Korea, Vietnam and the War on Terror.

"There are many fallen veterans who are not currently recognized on the existing plaque outside of East Memorial Stadium," Leigh Lillibridge, Campaign Coordinator with the GIPS Foundation, told Local4 News. "So we wanted to make sure we remember and bring light to their ultimate sacrifice."

The Foundation is encouraging families members to visit their

to write more information about their veterans on the wall.
