No COVID-19 case in Logan County as reported by officials

A state clerical error made folks in Logan County think they had their first case of COVID 19. Shannon Vanderheiden with the West Central District Health Department shared the error with News 2 today.

She says the Logan County case was entered into the electronic tracking system incorrectly by another department. As of right now, there is no one testing positive for COVID 19 in the Stapleton area.

The Nebraska Dept. of Health and Human Services says as of today, April 6th, there are 422 cases of COVID-19 in the state. There are 16 cases in Lincoln County.

Nine people have died from COVID-19.
