HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Hastings Fire & Rescue, Hastings Police, and Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home and Cremation Center are doing their part to ensure no one forgets the public servants who paid the ultimate sacrifice and those who lost their lives at the World Trade Center, The Pentagon, and at Shanksville, Pennsylvania on Flight 93, 18 years ago.

On Sept. 11, they invite the public to join them at The City Council Chambers at Hastings City Hall – 220 North Hastings Avenue, to pay respect to all who gave their lives during the 9/11 attacks in 2001.

The ceremony will begin at 9:00 am and end at 9:28 with the tolling of the bells, the time the North Tower at the World Trade Center collapsed.
