Pickup driver killed in I80 collision Friday afternoon

Near Sutherland, Neb. (KNOP) - A recent high school graduate died after his pickup truck ran into the rear of a semitrailer on Interstate 80 in western Nebraska. The crash occurred a little before 4:15 p.m. Friday, about 3 miles west of Sutherland. Sidney Fiske, 18, lived in Henry.

Traffic is being rerouted at Paxton. Officials are unsure how many others may be hurt or involved in this accident. We are waiting on more information from rescue crews on the scene.
