Popular singing group returning to the Salvation Army

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) A stop along the way between shows in California and Tennessee means gospel music fans will be able to see one of their favorite groups.

Mark 209 will be at the Hastings Salvation Army Friday night beginning at 7:00 p.m. The group has been known to describe their music as "country music with a Jesus kick".

Major Dale Brandenburg from the Salvation Army says people will need to maneuver right a little construction project as they are putting in a new parking lot.

"This Friday night you'll have to park in the big parking lot behind the building, but then walk around to the big red doors off of Burlington (Avenue)", said Brandenburg. "There a big sign that says temporary entrance."

Brandenburg says even with the project, there is plenty of parking available.

Looking ahead, Brandenburg says they have another concert coming up in two weeks. New Covenant from West Virginia will be performing Friday, April 26.

There is no admission charge for either show. A free-will "love" offering will be taken.
