Each year Raising Nebraska, held in the Nebraska Building on the State Fair grounds, premieres its new exhibits and interactive items in hopes of attracting foot traffic and letting people know the room is there year round.
An extension of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Raising Nebraska has demonstrations, interactive screens, workshops and a combine model fair goers can test drive.
Sarah Polak, the Experience Coordinator, said one of the exhibit's most popular items is the interactive floor map of Nebraska people can walk on to explore the different elevation and terrain.
The exhibit is free and can be visited year round and found in the Nebraska Building on the State Fair grounds.
