LINCOLN, Neb. – Nebraska football head coach Mike Riley spoke to the media on Monday during his weekly press conference.

The Husker football squad is coming off a difficult weekend, in which Nebraska got trounced by Minnesota 54-21. The Huskers are now 4-6 on the season.

Nebraska will battle highly-ranked Penn State on the road this Saturday at 3 p.m.

Quarterback Tanner Lee is currently in the concussion protocol, and is questionable to play. Riley said Lee was injured late in the first half when a player fell on his head.

If Lee can't go, Patrick O'Brien will get the start. Andrew Bunch would be the No. 2 quarterback.

In other injury news, Luke Gifford will undergo season-ending surgery this week, while Eric Lee remains in concussion protocol.

Jaylin Bradley, Chris Weber, and Mick Stoltenberg should all be healthy enough to play.
