Seminar to teach method for mental, spiritual health

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) A two-day seminar hosted by national experts on a method they refer to as Transformational Prayer Ministry will be presented Friday and Saturday in Grand Island.

Dr. Ed Smith and Joshua Smith will be at the Abundant Life Christian Center for the event that organizers say can benefit a wide gamut of people.

"It's working with people who want to have healing in their thought process, how they are dealing with life," said Angie Rose, one of the event organizers. "And really, it's for people too who have past hurts (and) traumas they can't get past."

Susan Anderson, also an event organizer, says the seminar can benefit individuals and professionals alike.

"We'd like to see anyone who's struggling in life, who has areas they'd like to see a breakthrough," said Anderson. "Also, we have professional people coming - therapist and counselors."

The free seminar is Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It is free. Pre-registering can be done on-line at the TPM web site, or walk-ins will be welcome at the door.
