NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - Several inches of white stuff fell on the ground in Lincoln County and in the Sandhills on the last day of April. The warm ground prevented accumulation. North Platte reports 5" of snow. Mullen received 7" of snow.

Snow ended in North Platte around 8 am Tuesday. The quick-moving storm didn't let snow stack up on the ground because of the warm soil temperatures. Snow did stick to trees and vehicles.
