Governor Pete Ricketts has proclaimed Thursday as Nebraska State Fair Day in Nebraska. Ricketts signed the proclamation while appearing live on Local4 News at 11:30 from the State Fair.

Ricketts made special note that this is the 150th year of the State Fair and the 10th year it has been in Grand Island.

The governor presented the proclamation to State Fair general manager Lori Cox, who said, "It (now) feels 150 years official."
