Suspect in Hansen murder case pleads guilty to misdemeanor charge

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB)- Another one of the people charged in connection to the Jose Hansen murder case appeared in court. Katherine Creigh pleaded guilty to her reduced charge of a class one misdemeanor for obstructing government operations.

She previously was charged with being an accessory to a felony. It was reduced as part of a plea deal she made with the state to cooperate with law enforcement and testify in the daniel harden trial.

She could face up to a year in prison or a $1000 fine, or a mix of both. Creigh will be sentenced on January 8 in Adams County Court.
