Broncos open up fall camp

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Hastings College opened up fall camp at Lloyd Wilson Field. The team is looking to improve on last season, where the Broncos finished with a record of 5-6.

During practice, Coach Tony Harper did not hold back when talking about what saw from his squad.

"We expected this practice to be a lot cleaner. we expected it to be a lot crisper. We saw some good things but we're not where we need to be right now," Harper said. "We have the potential to do some stuff, but potential is a long ways away. We got over a month before we play our first conference game so we have a lot of stuff to get cleaned up."

Hastings College was slotted seventh in the GPAC coaches preseason poll.
