Becker is the second Haymaker to ever win a girls' golf championship, and the first since Kendra Marshall won the Class B title in 1987.

After the win, Becker said, "I was really happy, really excited. I knew I had to calm down my nerves and keep playing, so I just had to think about it just being another round. I played with the girl who got second, so I just knew every shot had to count."
