GRAND ISLAND, Neb.-- Saturday was a mixed bag for Hastings Five Points.

Coming into the weekend, the team only had two losses in 27 games, but ended Saturday with a split.

Hastings won game one against Papillion, 9-1. Five Points was able to bust the game open and end it in a seven-run fifth, which featured six walks with four of them coming with the bases loaded.

Game two was a different story, though. Five Points fell to an early 3-0 hole in the first inning to Millard West and could only muster one run the rest of the way in a 6-1 loss.

Five Points now moves to 27-3 on the season and will play another doubleheader at Ryder Park Sunday.
